Ingredients

11/2 to 2 lbs, quail, pheasant, rabbit or chicken

5 or 6 taters

1 large onion

1 large can crushed tomatoes

1 can creamed corn

1 can niblet corn

1 jar pickled tabasco peppers (I buy Trappeys)

Salt and pepper meat and cover with water in large stock pot. Bring to boil until meat comes off the bone easily. Remove meat from water and let cool.

Cube potatoes into small cubes. Add to broth bring to boil. Add onion (chopped). Boil until potatoes get soft. Add Tomatoes, Corn and two to three whole hot peppers from jar. Pick meat from bones and add back into pot. Let simmer. Salt and pepper to taste.

This stew is really good in camp. You can make it to feed a huge crowd. It is a good one to eat around the fire.

Keep yer eyes peeled!

Food and hunting go hand in hand. At our camp, we make sure we eat as well as we hunt.

It will be perfect for this weekend with the rain and cold. Make sure you have plenty of saltine crackers to crumble up in it!

Keep yer eyes peeled!
