i had taken my lab quail hunting and about 5 days later his eyes started turning blue from the bottoms up. the vet said it was probably an infection and gave me eyedrops to administer 3 times a day for 5 days. one eye is completely healed and the other almost. what a scare!! he said that it was from the dust off of the tall grass and that he was not any more prone than any other dog to get it, just that he got more dust than his tears could flush out. has anyone else had this happen to there dog? how did yall treat it?

A friend of mine had an english pointer that got those all the time, but he was told it was from the actual tall grass rubbing his eyes.
