I can feel your pain!  I was looking for a place to hunt that was Christian orientated and could not find what I was looking for.......Might want to look at purchasing some land.  With real estate prices like they are...now is a good time to invest.  That is what I had to do.  I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks David I was affraid of that.  I know that my brother and I could make arrangments and problably go in on about 100 acres, but my dad at this point is stressing as retirerment is creeping up on him.  Our dream is to find a place that would be big enough for all 3 of us to hunt and also our kids.  Ive got 4 ages 12, 8, 6, and 3 all boys too.  My brother is getting married soon and will be looking to settle in and have some little ones of his own as well.  At this point I was hoping for a lease for the next 5 years as that would give us time to settle down a bit and save up money to get around 250 - 300 acres.  Oh well thanks for replying and good luck out there this year.

First off, let me say I am not a real estate agent etc....I am actually writting this from Nigeria, Africa;  I am working a 28 day cycle over here right now.  I will be returning November 18th, and I cannot wait to get on the deer stand.  I dont know where you live, but I live in NE Texas, just outside of Longview.  I just went through this process of buying land.  I just purchased 112 acres, so I know what is on the market, my wife and I have looked at hundreds of properties.  Since the economy is what it is right now, interest rates are low and you would be surprised what you can get for land, and what the monthly note would be.  Let me know if I can help!
