Man the cost of shotgun shells is just getting cheaper and cheaper every year. Why can't gas be like shells? Walmart has the Remington Heavy Dove #6s, 7 1/2, and 8s for 2.98 a box of 25. I got mine. How much are shells where you purchase them?

I bought some last week at Academy and paid 3 dollars and 20 something cents a box. I didn't think that was too bad.

I have bought my shells at Academy for a few years for $3.29 a box, simply because it is on the way home from work, and I don't have to fight the mobs at the local Wal Mart's! I did get a good deal at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine last winter for about $3.00 a box.

still have some shells from last year that are going to get shot before I buy any new ones. Will also be hunting some doves with my new Benelli Nova pump in 20 guage as well. Will probably get shells from either wally world or Academy.

The public hunting permit would be your best bet, its only $50 and you get to hunt all over the state.

at Cabelas I saw a case for 2.70 per box! It was a mail-in rebate if you can believe that. Pretty cheap though.
