A friend and I went to my parents place opening morning but the dove were somewhat scarce. We ended the morning with 16 dove between us. Went back on Saturday with a buddy and his three boys. The boys had a blast and shot 9 dove. On Sunday evening things were a little better for me, I was able to take 9 dove. How did things go for the rest of you guys?

It was pretty lame shooting on my part.  I went up to Lampasas and should of had about 6 or 7 birds.  I did get very excited though about my first Eurasian Collared Dove though.  I've never shot one before.  They are really neat looking. 

I sure miss my barrel smoking from hunting the doves up by Lubbock.  Those were the days...

Cool, one of the boys we hunted with shot a collared dove but that was the only one we got all weekend.
