HOUSTON, Texas -

A first-ever Texas Wildlife Association Foundation Quail Conservation Award and Fundraising Gala will recognize the achievements of individuals, ranches, and leases that promote quail habitat and restoration management in Texas at a special banquet at the Omni Hotel in Houston on April 16. The event includes a reception, dinner and auction.

Leading Texas quail researchers and experts evaluated nominated properties from across the state in selecting the recipients of the conservation awards.

The event features Quail Conservation Award winners in the categories of Quail Stewardship and Quail Habitat Restoration. The Quail Conservation Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented.
