Summary:

This is a year round lease. I need 10 management minded hunters. This will be for the 2012 season, deer, turkey, some quail (no dogs) varments. Camping area has water / electric---cost at end of deer season will be equally split between all hunters. I am looking to maintain this lease for the forseeable future so I want management minded hunters.

We just increased our acreage to over 2500 acres and need two more hunters at our lease near Olney. $1500.per gun.Not sure exactly how many hunters total, but it will probably be 300 acres per deer hunter. We have a large camp with electric but no water.(maybe a couple of bird dogs).You might have to pitch in a little for electric. Very good turkey, deer,does need to be culled.dove,duck, year round lease. Core group is older but anyone is welcome.No crazies! Summary:

Hunt includes one morning and one evening hunt for two days. Hunt may start any day of the week with a 30-day reservation. Truck and dogs are furnished each day.  Accommodations and meals are 5 star. Prior to the hunt you will be mailed a questionnaire to special needs that you may have, a menu of 30 meal items to choose from to cover your breakfast, lunch and dinner right down to how you like your steak cooked.

All birds will be cleaned and packaged for return trip. Bag limits are set according State Game Laws. Hunters will generally flush between 18 and 24 coveys of wild birds per day ,during very dry years this may not be the case, but excellent flying pen raised birds may be substituted if requested at an extra cost, call for quote. The dogs and handlers are excellent. The lodge is complete with a huge flat screen TV . Each room has individual satellite reception, plus each room has a separate climate control unit. All TVs are complete with DVD and VHS players. Departure: Hunters may stay over if they wish, dinner and breakfast is included. No alcohol is furnished, (Hunters are welcomed to bring their own favorite brand.) No firearms will be furnished. Ammunition is furnished (12 & 20 ga.). We can accommodate up to 8 hunters. Living Waters Reserve and Ranch is the idyllic setting for a hunter's dream getaway. This 720-acre ranch provides unparalleled hunting and fishing adventures. Exotic Game Hunting
Hunters at Living Waters will find exotics and native breeds that include axis, mouflon, black buck and white tail. Our hunting guide will develop a hunt based upon your desires and the size of your hunting group.

Bird Hunting
Upland bird hunting at Living Waters includes pheasant, quail, chukar, guide, bird dogs and processing. We utilize premier guide services. This activity can be arranged by contacting our event planner.

We adhere to safety and the law at Living Waters. Guests are asked to bring their own hunting license, which is required by law, even when no white tail deer are being hunted. Guests must bring their own firearm and ammo. Minor aged hunters must have a youth hunter’s license and be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. If guests bring alcoholic beverages to enjoy, we insist that the firearms be laid down for the rest of the day or night.

Whether stalking a mouflon or walking through tall grasses behind a highly trained Labrador retriever, the Living Waters adventure continues…

Novice hunter and THFN member Matthew Bell shares how he recently introduced his 8-year-old son to the sport of hunting by taking him on a one-day quail hunt at the Thunderhole Ranch in Coke County, Texas.  Their experience shows that even inexperienced sportsmen can create a family hunting tradition to pass along.
